The Duff Green Mansion was built with slave labor in 1856. The mansion escaped destruction in the Siege of Vicksburg during the Civil War by serving by a hospital, although a cannonball strike can still be seen in the ceiling beams of one of the rooms. All rooms come with private bath and fireplace, with tours of the house being offered for guests of the mansion.
